Dad Walks Again After Four-month Paralysis

“My hands and feet feel numb,” Jonathan told his wife in March 2019. Over the course of a week, his energy had been sapped, his legs felt weighted, his muscles tight, and he was growing weaker by the day. “I walked across a parking lot after an oil change. It should’ve taken me 30 seconds, but it took like five minutes,” he said. Two weeks later, this active father of three was paralyzed. After working with the team at Roper Rehabilitation Hospital, Jonathan is once again walking. Hear his story.
