The number one resolution among Americans is to lose weight. It’s something that over a third of the population hopes to achieve each year. New Year's ResolutionsGoing hand in hand with losing weight is trying to eat healthier and eat less. For most Americans these resolutions can be daunting and many people don’t know where to start to begin their healthy lifestyle journey.

If you are part of the population that wants to lose weight, here are a few dietary tips to help you out!

  1. Eat More Veggies
  1. Eat More Fiber
  1. Eat Less Sugar
  1. Drink More Water

Any change can be scary so it’s okay to take it slow. Many people try to accomplish too many things at once, so spend a few weeks and tackle one or two goals at a time. It will take time for your new changes to become habit. Don’t get discouraged when you fall off the wagon – take some time to recognize what happened, but don’t use it as an excuse to give up. Use the support of your family and friends to help you achieve your goals!
